Simple Ways you can Save the Earth: Ride your Bike

The Simple Ways you can Save the Earth this week– Now that the weather's heating up,
it's the perfect time to ride your bike or walk to school. Try to find at least one day
each week not take a ride to school and reduce your carbon footprint.

Riding your bike isn't just good for the environment, it's also good for your health and it saves money! Yes! You don't have to drive as much, so you don't have to pay for gas. Fun experiment: See how much you save by just simply riding your bike every chance you get instead of driving. Being out and active in the world gets your brain going before work or school. If you ride your bike, you'll be more focused in class. I would encourage everyone to ride their bikes if they can. I'm trying to ride my bike more. Remember, if we all do a little bit, it will total in to a lot. Do your part.

Simple Ways you can Save the Earth

“Simple Ways You Can Save The Earth" – One way to solve the garbage problem is to practice the Three R's – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

So what do the three R's mean?

You can reduce the amount of plastic, water, paper, and energy use every day. You can reuse paper if you only use one side at a time. Then, when the paper is all used up, you can recycle it. You can also reduce the amount of water by turning off the water while brushing your teeth, you can shorten your shower, and you can turn off the water while washing your hands. You can even reuse water by taking saved rain water to water your plants. You can reduce energy by turning off extra lights that don't need to be on, unplug your computer when you leave for vacation, and even go in through your front door when you get home instead of using your electric garage door opening. Not only do all of these things help save the earth, but they also save your family money. If you use a lot of energy in your house, you are going to have a higher energy bill. Same with your water bill.
